A bit about us
Blaidd Field Archers is an amateur archery club based just outside Wrexham. The form of archery we participate in is field archery and we are the only field archery club in the area. Note: we are not a business, just an amateur community sports club, recognised as an Unincorporated Association, run for the benefit of the community and our members.
We are completely inclusive and welcome anyone to join us and benefit from the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of joining a friendly club and enjoying the sport of archery.
Although we charge a small annual fee for membership and a small fee for beginners courses, all of this goes directly back into the club to pay for the upkeep of the course, equipment, and the targets. We are completely non-profit.
All of our coaches are volunteers, who give up their free time to pass on their knowledge, experience, and to bring the sport of archery to as many people as we can.
Please note: 95% of our members shoot single string unsighted bows. As such we are currently not taking any new members that shoot compound bows.
