It was bright and sunny start to the day and we had a 2 hour drive ahead of us. We found the woods easily from the postcode and NFAS signs. After setting up and a short stroll to registration it was time for breakfast. They have a great setup and food was top notch. Following the safety talk, which warned us to keep a eye out for adders, it was to the pegs to wait for the horn. The woods looked fantastic with the huge rhododendron in full bloom. The shots were cleverly set with gauging distance very tricky on some of them. It was obvious that a great deal of attention was paid to the placement of the targets as they looked amazing. Luckily I had some anti mosquito spray because they were out in abundance. Catering was pass through which work well and the pulled pork and stuffing really hit the spot. The temperature was high but fortunately, there were dark cool shots.
It was a fantastic first visit and very pleased with my score.
Thanks to all at Harlequin for all your hard work and I look forward to my next visit.
